There’s a little bit of everything in us.
Of course, you’ve heard that before, you’ve heard lots of things before. But where is all that? I read somewhere that we are made up of a little bit of every great stalwart, every leader, every human being that lived on the planet. That’s because when you die, you go back to nature, and that’s the same place that gives birth to you, nourishes you, and keeps you alive in it’s heart.
There’s a little bit of Napoleon, a little bit of Gandhi, a little bit of whoever you admire, respect, even hate. But the problem lies in how one responds to so many characters. We’re all learning along the way, aren’t we?
You need to know which character to play when. Every opportunity, every problem that’s thrown your way, has some sixty different solutions. But sometimes, we forget that picking the simplest way out can be the most complicated task in itself.
Don’t go with what’s easy or with what’s tough, thinking along the lines of taking the road least taken. Because maybe, it doesn’t work that way, at least that’s what I feel.
Go with what your gut tells you. With what that little person beating inside you tells you. And it doesn’t matter if you’re wrong the first seven times. Because even that little person inside’s learning the ways of the world as you are.
